IPTV Troubleshooting Guide — Stop the Buffering, Drops & Freezes.

Buffering or freezing during playback ; Streaming — 4 Fixes

1 — Switch to a wired ethernet connection — plug a cable directly from your router to your device. This eliminates Wi-Fi interference and resolves buffering in most cases.

2 — Switch to 5 GHz Wi-Fi — go to Settings → Wi-Fi on your device and connect to the 5 GHz band. The 2.4 GHz band is congested and causes buffering at peak hours.

3 — Clear your IPTV app cache — go to Settings → Apps → your IPTV app → Clear Cache. Accumulated data slows stream delivery over time.

4 — Enable a VPN — your ISP may be throttling IPTV traffic. A VPN bypasses this and restores full speed.

3 Check your credentials — verify your Username, Password, and Server URL are entered exactly as received by email. A single wrong character blocks the connection.

3 — Log into your member dashboard — confirm your subscription is active and has not expired. An expired account returns a connection error identical to a network failure.

3 — Re-enter credentials from scratch — delete the existing playlist in your IPTV app and re-add it using Xtream Codes API. Avoid copy-paste with invisible trailing spaces.

4 — Contact support — if credentials are correct and subscription is active, contact our team via WhatsApp for a server URL check.

EPG blank, empty, or showing wrong times ; EPG — 3 fixes

1 — Force-refresh the EPG — open your IPTV app settings → find Update EPG or Refresh Guide → tap and wait 60 seconds. EPG data for 49,000+ channels is large and requires a full download on first load.

2 — Fix wrong schedule times — in TiviMate go to Settings → General → Timezone → select your current local timezone. International channels broadcast in their own timezone by default.

3 — Switch from M3U to Xtream Codes API — M3U loads EPG 5x more slowly. Re-add your playlist using Xtream Codes login (Server URL + Username + Password) for instant EPG loading.

1 — Force stop and relaunch the app — go to Settings → Apps → your IPTV app → Force Stop, then relaunch. This clears the active session without losing your credentials.

2 — Disable battery optimization — on Android go to Settings → Battery → Battery Optimization → your IPTV app → Don't Optimize. Samsung and Xiaomi aggressively kill background apps.

3 — Clear the app cache — Settings → Apps → your IPTV app → Clear Cache. Accumulated EPG cache can exceed 500 MB and causes startup crashes on low-storage devices.

4 — Reinstall the latest version — uninstall and reinstall the app from Google Play or via APK. Your credentials are not stored in the app — re-enter them from your email or dashboard.

1 — Refresh your playlist — open TiviMate or Smarters → Settings → Playlists → Refresh. Channel stream URLs update periodically — a refresh fetches the latest working addresses.

2 — Try an alternative stream — in TiviMate long-press the channel → Streams → select a different source. Most channels have multiple regional feeds — one of them is almost always active.

3 — Enable hardware decoding — in TiviMate go to Settings → Player → Hardware Decoding → ON. Software decoding on some devices causes black screens on high-bitrate streams.

Lost credentials or subscription expired ; Account — 2 Fixes

1 — Check your email inbox — your credentials (Username, Password, Server URL) were sent to your email immediately after subscribing. Search for emails from Watch@IPTVSubscription.me.

2 — Log in to your member dashboard — visit IPTVSubscription.me and log in to your account. All credentials and subscription status are permanently accessible there. If your plan has expired, you can renew directly from the dashboard.

Good internet speed but streams still buffer | ISP throttle ; Connection —3 fixes

1 — Enable a VPN — ISPs in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia actively throttle IPTV traffic regardless of your subscribed speed. A VPN encrypts your traffic and bypasses packet-level throttling.

2 — Test at off-peak hours — if streams work fine at 6 AM but buffer at 8 PM, ISP throttling during peak hours is confirmed. Enable a VPN before your next evening session to verify.

3 — Configure VPN at the router level — for Smart TVs and MAG Boxes that don't support VPN apps directly, configure the VPN on your router. All connected devices including your TV will route through the VPN automatically.
